I got to spend the afternoon with my best friend... thee one and only Mariah Tiratzo

(She wanted to make sure you guys got her full name and that I spelled it correctly!...She's kind of a diva like that!)

Sometimes I want to smack her silly

More often than not I'm just shaking my head at how much of a princess she can be

We call each other stupid like it's going out of style (term of endearment between us really) 

But no matter how crazy this girl can make me lol

I love her so very much

We first met in second life over six years ago and she's been putting up with me in both worlds ever since

Since then, we've been through a ton together

She's there for me in an instant if I need her to be

She lets me have my space when I turn grumpy and need to be alone 

And most importantly..

she buys me coffee!

So in other words...she's a keeper!

Benny, my cat, and I had decided to go on a grand adventure today

We were going to take our new plane out for a spin

Feel the wind in our hair...or fur...

as we waved hello to other birds of the sky

We were going to swoop this way..

...and nose dive that way!

There was just one sliiiight little problem...

a detail really...

...Neither of us knew how to fly a plane

Luckily for us,

I found a "Beginner's Guide to Flying an Airplane" manual tucked under the seat next to those big red flashy button thingies

"Step One:" it read

"Start the Engine."

Oh! Ok! Easy enough..start the engine...

Which button did that though?

The buttons all looked the same to us and while I've never been one to shy away from pressing big red buttons when I probably shouldn't,

something was telling me that maaaaybe doing that today wouldn't have been the best idea

So...

Benny and I didn't go flying today, but hey!
